Introduction

Welcome to MoneyPlan - Drops of Memories, an application built by Alemik for managing your personal finances. Your privacy matters to us, all the more given how sensitive financial data is. This policy describes how the app handles the information you enter.

Data collection

MoneyPlan - Drops of Memories does not collect, does not store on its own servers and does not share any personal or financial data. Everything you enter — accounts, transactions, categories, extra and any other financial content — is saved on the device where the app is installed.

On Apple devices, when the device has iCloud Drive turned on, the same data is replicated into your own iCloud: it stays inside your iCloud space, managed by Apple, and Alemik neither accesses it nor keeps a copy. On Windows there is no syncing and the data never leaves the device. No data is transmitted to Alemik or to third parties.

App permissions

MoneyPlan - Drops of Memories is built to ask for the bare minimum. In particular, the app neither requests nor uses:

• access to the camera;
• access to the microphone;
• access to the photo library or to media files;
• access to contacts or to other personal information on the device.

The only space it uses is the application's local storage and, on Apple devices, your own iCloud container described below.

iCloud sync (Apple devices only)

On iPhone, iPad and Mac, MoneyPlan - Drops of Memories syncs your plans across the devices signed in to the same iCloud account, through your own private database (CloudKit). There is no switch inside the app: syncing follows the device’s iCloud Drive setting and is controlled from the system iCloud settings.

The data travels only inside your own iCloud space, managed by Apple: Alemik does not access it, does not receive it and keeps no copy. Synced data can be removed at any time from the device’s iCloud settings. On Windows there is no syncing and the data stays on the device.

Security

MoneyPlan - Drops of Memories data lives only on your device and inherits its protections (operating system user account, disk encryption if enabled, screen lock).

Since this is an app for personal financial information, we recommend that you:

• keep your operating system up to date;
• protect the device with a password, PIN or biometric authentication;
• make regular backups, to guard against data loss if the device fails, is lost or is replaced.

Alemik has no way at all to access, recover or restore the data kept locally on your device.

Third-party services

The app integrates no third-party services capable of collecting personal data, uses no behavioural analytics, includes no advertising trackers. The only external service it talks to is Apple’s iCloud, on Apple devices only and according to the device’s iCloud Drive setting: the data stays inside your own iCloud space, subject to Apple’s terms.

Any link to an external resource (for example a link to the Alemik website) is governed by the policy of its owner, for which Alemik is not responsible.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to update this policy should MoneyPlan - Drops of Memories introduce features that involve processing data (for example artificial intelligence features or backup services). Any change will be published on this page and announced inside the app. Please check this page from time to time to stay informed.
